Since the Greeks discovered the power of Eros and Thanatos for their dramas this two aspects found also later their way into the cinema until now. We will see how the editing and montage especially helps to elaborate the couple of terms Eros and Thanatos in the narration of movies. And why the classical Hollywood cinema for example elaborated coverage system and cross cutting and integrated European Avantgarde.
